Nice Review. I specifically liked the quote describing Welles' masterful writing, supporting the reason why it was and still is such a success: "...a newspaper comedy, a domestic melodrama, a Gothic romance, and a historical epic." Welles' art of combining these generas made Kane a powerful, yet relateable ("unmistakably human") character.
